Size : Height 32 cm. Condition : Oil lamp. Top broken. History : Bought Vieng Ta Garn, Lamphun. 1978. The old man who kept a museum/shop said that many such pieces had been found in the Hariphunchai period city of Vieng Ta Garn. This would place them firmly in the Early Hariphunchai era. This, and the following piece, are hand thrown and deliberately glazed. They could be the earliest non-Khmer glazed wares from Thailand.
